Bugs have been the order of the evening. I fixed about 10 bugs in the code this evening. I also added a few features and tweaked a couple of things to get the text right.
Yep, Basically I have been doing stuff. I have triaged the features to add list down to 3 items. Putting everything else off for a future version. It was starting to feel like I was thinking of more and more features to add and the dreaded feature creep cycle was starting to kick off. Version 1.0 of this site should be the bare minimum.
I imagine getting those last 3 features in will take a week or so and then it is on to making the site look nice. Another week or so I would expect. So it looks like I am heading for a mid February release. Although don't hold me to that whenever I set hard dates things always seem to come up which delay them.
After writing the post-mortem for Working Late I realise I need to start experimenting with marketing. Ok I admit I don't have much of a clue about that, so I have decided to treat this website as a chance to get some experience with that. Basically experiment with getting the word out there. I am compiling a list ideas on how to do this. Nothing original or even earth shattering just common sense really.
