Next App Is Starting To Look Nice

After a very long weekend off I returned to working on my little android app. It is add polish time to it. I usually add polish at about 80% of the way through a project as this helps to motivate me for the final push but also make me use the app quite a bit.

Using the app is important as it will help reveal obvious user experience problems, that is anything that is a pain to do in the app. Where possible, in these simple apps, everything should be easy and a joy to do. At no point should I feel annoyed. 

There is a little bit more to polish up and then I am going to have a final push to get it ready for release. Of course that cannot really happen until JQueryMobile gets stabilised and bug fixed. There are at least 2 show stopping bugs in JQueryMobile that will stop me from release the app I have been working on.

A few more programming evenings and one sorting out the packaging then I should be ready for my next app.
