I want to write something along the lines of I don't like coding in Java but in actual fact I quite like Java. The trouble with it is it is just a little to close too C++ and so feels like I am at work. Coding at home should not feel like work. CoffeeScript feels great for this. It may not even be the programming language perhaps sitting in front of Big IDEs is what makes it feel like work. Where as coding in gvim feels different (ok fun) partly because it is lightweight and get out of the way.
Will my new found motivation with android? I am not sure but I have a big list of apps/games that I make, A list that I seem to add to every couple of days, this in itself is quite motivating.
This does not mean I am giving up on making stuff for the web. Where appropriate I will "port" it over to the web given how easy it will be to do.
