Starting The Next App

I have finished off my first app in quite a while for android. As mentioned I won't be releasing it a little while basically until JQueryMobile is a lot closer to the end of its beta.

I suppose there is the risk that the bugs I am hitting don't get fixed and I have created an android app that is not really releasable. Then again I could fix them up myself as it is open source, although it is not an area of my expertise. It could be bugs in the actual android browser causing these problems. That would be a bit of an issue for me particularly given the fragmentation issues on the phone. 

Anyway those are all things that I am not thinking about otherwise I might loose momentum.

A night or two ago as I had a about 40 minutes spare before my brain needed to crash into dreamland I wondered how quickly I could get a copy of Working Late working on a android phone. 

Using the template from my previous code and just dropping in the html and code files for working late. I had it up and running in minutes. I then started to hack on the css file to actually make it work on a phone. By the time I hit the bed I had a reasonable working copy of Working late on my phone. Selecting seemed a little slow and I probably needed to work a little bit on getting the presentation a little bit better but it was playable.

I has also started fleshing out my next simple app using JQueryMobile. It is gonig to be my take on to-do list apps. It is basically going to be the to-do manager that I want to use. Simple and without complications, hopefully others will like it.
