I have been quite busy over the past few weeks. A bit of a surprise really as it has been a bit of holiday season here which made a big dent in my programming time.
I am gradually learning openGL ES2.0 from a book. Which is fun and make me appreciate some of the wrapping that LibGdx provide.
Android wise I got to a point where an app I was working on was not looking like it would work out. Rather than push on with it I decided to cancel it and move on. I guess I should treat these early implementation as prototypes that way if it is not working out I won't feel like I have failed.
Coding wise I have been working out my coding foo by implementing a sudoku solver and a word search generator. These did not take long but where fun to implement. They may form the basis for some android apps in the future.
I am very much aware that we are well into the month of June and I just cancelled the app I was working on. In my mind I want to release an app a month just to keep momentum going. I seriously doubt I will be able to get the next app done in the time remaining but I want to have a good stab just to put a bit of pressure on myself :)
If you look to the right hand side of the screen you will see I have not updated my twitter account for a while. I have sort of switch to google plus not because I am a google fan but just because I like the interface better.
My twitter account is now sort of in read only mode as lots of interesting people are on it. Google plus is not as popular but then I was mostly tweeting to myself as a sort of motivational tool. Should anyone want to follow me (or add me to a circle if that is the correct terminology) then here is the link.
At some point I will add a proper link to the site.
